Japanese Giant Spider Crab
This crab is just humongous; its leg-span is nearly four whole meters! It is estimated that these crabs can live up to be 100 years! Did you know that it has 10 legs!!!
Fangtooth fish
Also known as the Ogrefish it rages up to 6 inches long, although it's small it's known to be deep under the ocean. Usually about 650 to 6,000 ft below sea level it has been seen down at 16,000 feet below sea level!
Frilled Shark
The Frilled Shark is a very akward looking shark. It has 300 small teeth and 97-1500 cm long. It's also known to be called the Lizard Shark or the scaffold shark.
Yeti Crab
It was discovered in 2005; it had no eyes at all and was very hairy. The Yeti Crab represents awhole new species and genus.
Spotted Eagle Ray
The Spotted Eagle Ray can grow up to minimum 3.5 meters and up to 507 pounds (230kg). The tail spines of the Spotted Eagle Ray is very poisioness and dangerous.
Oarweed
The Oarweed can grow lengths of up to 2 meters long. It can be in depths of up to 20 meters and its life cycle is perennial.
Kelp
Kelp is very healthy and is full of nutrients; infact it's eaten all over the world! They grow in tempatures between 6 and 14 °C (43 and 57 °F). Kelp grows very fast infact the types of Kelp Macrocystis and Nereocystis can grow as fast as half a meter a day, they can ultimately reaching 30 to 80 metres (100 to 260 ft).
sargassum
It's a free-floating species and it can stretch for miles along the ocean surface. It was named by Portugese sailors who had discover it in the Sargasso Sea.
